The Marriage License is a legal document that allows a couple to be legally married in Hawaii. Both Bride and Groom must meet the requirements to be married, and both must apply together, in person. Valid identification is required. License fee is $60, cash only.
You will leave the Office with the Marriage License in hand. It is valid for thirty days. Don't do anything to it, but be sure to take it with you the day of your wedding, to give to your officiant.
You can expect to receive the marriage certificate (the legal proof of your marriage) three to four months after your wedding. After the wedding you can request to expedite the process, to receive the license in three to four weeks.

Linda's experience and personality as a wedding minister never did fit a package, and she doesn't have cookie-cutters. She was licensed in 1996 to officiate your wedding. Last-minute weddings are welcome, as are great-big intimate weddings, and weddings for two. You'll remember your wedding ceremony.

Your Hawaii Marriage Certificate is legal proof of your marriage in Hawaii. After your wedding the license will be recorded, processed and signed by several officials.
After the license processing is complete, the State of Hawaii will send you your Marriage Certificate. You can expect to receive it three to four months after your wedding. You can request to expdite the process, to receive the certificate in three to four weeks.
