Hawaii Marriage License
The Marriage License is a legal document that allows a couple to be legally married in Hawaii. Both Bride and Groom must meet the requirements to be married, and both must apply together, in person. Valid identification is required. License fee is $60, cash only.
You will leave the Office with the Marriage License in hand. It is valid for thirty days. Don't do anything to it, but be sure to take it with you the day of your wedding, to give to your officiant.
You can expect to receive the marriage certificate (the legal proof of your marriage) three to four months after your wedding. After the wedding you can request to expedite the process, to receive the license in three to four weeks.

Hawaii Wedding Officiant
For your wedding in Hawaii to be legal, Hawaii law requires a qualified minister be licensed by the State. Yes, your marriage will be recognized in any of our fifty states and in countries around the world!
There are four (4) necessities for your Hawaiian wedding:

- Groom
- marriage license
- Hawaii Licensed Officiate
The Bride is a woman.
The Groom is a man.
They've discovered joy in each other and their special love, unique to them. The Bride and the Groom are individuals. They commit their lives to each other, to become one in marriage.They choose a special date and place for their wedding in Hawaii.
The Marriage License is a document issued to qualifying couples who apply to marry while in Hawaii. By the time the recording and documentation process is complete, it will bear several signatures, when it will be a legal, binding contract.
The Licensed Officiate (a.k.a. wedding officiant, wedding minister, marriage officiant) is either a Judge or a Minister who has satisified State of Hawaii requirements to solemnize a marriage.
The Engaged Couple will find a marriage officiant as individual as they are.They'll have a wedding ceremony as memorable as the pictures, and live happily ever after.
Linda's experience and personality as a wedding minister never did fit a package, and she doesn't have cookie-cutters. She was licensed in 1996 to officiate your wedding. Last-minute weddings are welcome, as are great-big intimate weddings, and weddings for two. You'll remember your wedding ceremony.

Hawaii Marriage Certificate
Your Hawaii Marriage Certificate is legal proof of your marriage in Hawaii. After your wedding the license will be recorded, processed and signed by several officials.
After the license processing is complete, the State of Hawaii will send you your Marriage Certificate. You can expect to receive it three to four months after your wedding. You can request to expdite the process, to receive the certificate in three to four weeks.
